Cute little dress that fit perfectly. I am totally happy with the dress pattern. Thanks!
I think this is a great piece with lots of potential for improvisation. My ruching needs practice and it's a bit fiddly around the neck, but the pattern states this. I'm looking forward to making my Frankie a wardrobe!
Out of the dozens and dozens of patterns I've bought from Pixie Faire the last few years, this has to be one of the least satisfying. I realize that MH patterns are (right now) still hard to come by, but I do not feel at all like I received $4.99 worth of value from this one. The clear and detailed instructions did not make up for the disappointment in the dress pattern itself. The glasses can turn out to be a cute, time-consuming accessory project...but were not the primary reason I bought this pattern.
After trying to tailor other doll patterns to fit the new 17-inch MH 'Frightfully Tall' line, with mixed results, I decided to give this one a whirl. It. Was. Awesome !! Wasn't hard to cut out, went together easily, and the directions were well-illustrated and complete. It uses a 1/4" seam allowance, something I don't take for granted anymore. Took about an hour or so, but I go slow with new patterns. I can see sewing almost a whole wardrobe with this, it'll be easy to change and alter. Well worth the investment ! My first go-to pattern for these dolls.
