Fun to make, easy instruction, went together well and the end result is very realistic, just like adult cargo pant!
So cute. They go together like a dream! I made them in khaki, of course, but I'll be making these in other colors soon.
I've sewn this pattern three times so far and know I will use it again many times. I have yet to add the drawstring since I've used fabrics that would have resulted in a tie too stiff and bulky. Had I had twill tape of a similar color I would have used that as a substitute. My only difficulty with this pattern has been in getting the width of the cargo pockets to match that of the pocket flap. I've had to rely on making adjustments to make the two match rather than following the measurement guidelines given on the pattern instructions. I own at least three other versions of cargo pants, but this is one has become my go to pattern. My only wish is that the pattern came with various length options from shorts to full length pants.
I am now sewing my second pair of these cropped cargo's and let me tell you, they are so adorable and the fit is great. You will not be disappointed with any patterns you purchase from Pixie Faire.
