I made three of these bags. The pattern was easy to follow. I added top stitching beside the zipper to make it look more finished and to ensure that the zipper wouldn’t get caught. I also inserted some needlework plastic to to give the bags more shape. I was pleased with the results from this pattern. Makes quite a large sized bag for a girl.
I recently made this doll carrier as a Christmas present for a friend. I was hesitant as I am weary of zips. I was so pleasantly surprised at how straightforward the pattern guide was. The results were amazing and now my daughter wants to make one for her doll.
This looks great with almost any fabric. It was also easy enough that my young niece managed to sew most of this bag with a little help from me. The pattern was simple enough for her to read and follow at age nine. (And she hates reading with a passion.) My niece takes this everywhere her mom lets her and the bag holds up great.
Good pattern. Made two. The second one went much faster than the first! Holds the dolls very well.
very easy to make. Great results
