What do you get when you mix Doo-wop music, full skirts, tiny waists, and ultra-feminine details together? A blast to the past with the Earth Angel Fifties Dress, by Forever 18 Inches! With a title inspired by a hit 1950s song, the dress features authentic retro styling with a basque waist, princess seams, a heart-shaped bodice, full skirt, and a coordinating bolero jacket for those times when your doll wants to cover her shoulders. Additional features include options for a decorative bow or tie for the bodice, and two sets of separately drafted pattern pieces with cutting lines for Small and Large-sized 18" dolls with soft bodies. The bodice has straps that can be adjusted and customized for a perfect length and fit for your particular doll. A simplified version of the dress can be made by using the Front Lining pattern piece of the dress instead of the princess seam pattern pieces. The Overlay can also be eliminated for an even simpler project. And since the pattern is delivered in PDF format, your doll will look heavenly in no time!

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Finished product fit great.
This dress is simple to construct. The ability to use lovely contrasting fabrics allows for a LOT of variation. And the little shrug is so cute, albeit I didn't use the construction technique demo'd with the pattern. Still turned our fabulous.
Everything went together very nicely. Instructions were great. Love the finished project.
Fun pattern. easy to follow instructions
I love that there are different cutting lines for different sized dolls. Most of my dolls are skinny dolls, but I have a friend who has chubby PM dolls so it is nice that everybody can have a pattern that fits their dolls. This dress fit very well. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The dress is really cute. I was especially happy with the bolero. I didn't have a pattern for a bolero before, so this was a very nice addition to my dollies wardrobe.
