Edwardian Bicycle Jacket 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

  |

This Edwardian Era Bicycle Jacket is designed to be paired with the Edwardian Bicycle Skirt, but its tailored design looks smart with a wide range of skirts and pants.  This fully lined jacket features a stylish cutaway design that allows for easy movement while maintaining a fitted appearance.  The double-breasted front opening fastens just below the shoulders and can be worn open or closed.  Small darts at the top of each sleeve gives the full sleeves a sleek appearance.  Tailored plackets finish the bottom edges of the sleeves and a box pleat in the back gives the bottom edge of the jacket a gentle feminine flare.

This PDF sewing pattern by Thimbles and Acorns is designed to fit popular 18" dolls such as those shown in the photos.
