Is your American Girl doll ready for a new pair of sandals? You can make her some really cute ones with the Espadrilles Shoe PDF Pattern designed by Eden Ava Couture! They can be made in a variety of color combinations.

Supplies Needed:
-Fabric: Canvas or heavy weight cotton
-Cardboard
-Quitlers Fleece
-Grosgrain ribbon
-trim that resembles hemp or jute
-thread
-rolled cork
-adhesive spray
-tacky glue
-hot glue
-foam core 
-single fold bias tape binding

Skill Level: This is an intermediate level pattern because of the assembly, the sewing skills required are basic.

 

What You Get: One 18 page sewing pattern that you digitally download as a PDF file so you can start your project immediately! The PDF sewing pattern provides full color step-by-step illustrated instructions and full size pattern pieces. espadrilles

These were a very fun pattern to work with, had just a little trouble with the bias on the back of the foot bt other than that, the end result was good. Loved it & will make more.

Pattern was a little difficult

These made up very nicely.

These made up very nicely. Found they were a little big, perhaps my fault as I didn't check sizing before I made them. But the instructions were clear and good photos helped too. Will be making other pairs of these. I made the option with the ankle straps.
