Fashion Boots 18" Doll Shoe Pattern

A basic pair of boots is a definite wardrobe essential! Now your doll can have a variety of colors made from this easy to sew PDF design, no buckles or laces just a simple hook and loop tape closure in the back. These boots are perfect for winter and can be worn with tights and skirts or a cute pair of jeans! 

Supplies Needed:
-1/4 yard vinyl
-faux leather or leather fabric for body 
-remnant piece for insoles
-sturdy cardboard
-1 craft foam sheet 9” x 12” black (2mm thick) 
-hot glue gun and hot glue sticks 
-quilters fleece 
-adhesive spray 
-tacky glue
-hook and loop tape
-rolled cork (optional)

Skill Level: This is an intermediate level pattern because of the fabric and assembly, the sewing skills required are basic.

This was a fun pattern to do and easy to accomplish. The boots turned out beautifully and was a huge hit with my grandaughter

For the money spent, the directions were not very clear and there should have been printed patterns for all pieces.

Fashion Boots 18" Doll Shoes

I'm having trouble with the directions on steps 4-6. When you join the Upper Boot piece to the upper boot trim, do you sew with a 1/4" seam from edge of Upper Boot piece? Then it just fold over the top edge right? I'm confused.
