A note from the designer, Karen Wadsworth: I've always loved dolls. I grew up with 11-1/2-inch fashion dolls, and when I first began sewing the first "real" pattern I ever used was a commercial pattern created to fit them. Much later in life I began sewing for 18-inch dolls, and as my involvement in the doll world grew I discovered articulated dolls. I was charmed. They're so much fun to pose and dress! When Kathe Kruse and Sonja Hartman created Kruseling® dolls I truly felt like I'd come full circle, fashion doll-sized AND articulated, too! I hope you enjoy this simple, seamstress-friendly pattern and enjoy playing alongside me.
