Fleur is a bonnet-style hat that features one row stripes, a ruched circular opening with a button at back, and ties embellished with crocheted flowers. It can be worn with the brim folded back (as modeled in 1st picture), or down, which creates a more casual hood-style hat. Hat is worked flat in one piece, and the million and one yarn ends usually associated with one row stripes are completely eliminated with a simple and fun technique.
PDF pattern includes schematic with measurements of finished hat.
Designed to fit 18” (46cm) dolls with a head circumference of approx. 12 1/4” (31cm), such as American Girl, Australian Girl, Gotz, Maplelea Girl and similar dolls.
