pattern went together well, instructions were easy to follow and it made a very cute outfit!
Very cute and easy to complete.
Most of the pattern was relatively easy with the exception of the top. The slippery black jersey kept getting caught in the bobbin case most likely because the pieces were so small. I thought of using tissue paper under the fabric but I didn't have time as the costume had to be shipped out of state. Luckily my granddaughter has a black leotard for her American Girl so everything worked out fine. In the future I should not choose a shiny material for small pattern pieces. The doll looks fantastic. Wish I could send a photo.
I had a lot of fun choosing fabric and trims, then making this costume. The hat pattern is one of the best I have seen, and fits over all that hair! The apron is a lovely idea. I decided to leave the skirt open all the way down the back. Also made a small hem, adding two rows of ric rac braid on top of the skirt. I found the suggestions in the pattern too bulky. I highly recommend this pattern. Now on to the Lil’ Pumpkin Costume.
Very Good. Only the apron was a bit too long.
