I used this pattern to make an 18 inch doll Fedora. It was a great pattern and fit well! Directions were well written; I'm hoping someday someone will want the child's version. Great pattern!
The doll's pattern is designed perfectly, I think. Everything fits together well. I used a thicker weight interfacing and found the hat was too tight to fit on my doll's head. I also cut down the height of the hat because I felt a fedora should be shorter. The only problem I really have is not knowing how to hold the dimples that a fedora should have in the top and the front, permanently.
