The download was easy and the directions simple and straightforward. I was making a 'Miguel' sweatshirt from the movie "Coco" for a client, so I added white stripes down the sleeves, took out the puffy sleeve caps, and re-designed the hood so it had drawstrings. Overall, I like the design. The pockets were a good size and look, and the zipper was easy to put it. It was a snug fit however, and if/when I make it again, I will add a little to all of the pieces for a more normal 'sloppy' fit for a hoodie. Also, while the hood fit for a boy doll's amount of hair, I will make the hood much larger when it has to fit over a girl doll's voluminous amount of hair.
Worked up really nice and really cute!
I loved how this turned out! I was very leary of trying something with a zipper, but it worked out great. I found a junior sized cropped thin sweatshirt on sale and it worked out very well. I even was able to use the ribbing from the shirt.
This pattern was easy to follow. The pictures and directions were very clear. I had trouble finding a 6 inch zipper in stores, but ordered one online.
