Ice-Skating Leo for WellieWishers Dolls

4   |

This extremely versatile PDF sewing pattern from ReadCreations has a long-sleeve and sleeveless version of the Ice-Skating Leo. Bonus instructions on how to make it one-colored are also included. If you omit the skirt you can use it as a gymnastics or ballet leotard or use it as a swimsuit. With this pattern you can create 8 variations when you mix and match the following options:long-sleeve or sleeveless, with or without skirt, one or multi color.
The one-colored, skirt-less option might even be simple enough for a confident beginner sewer.

Darling Skating Outfits

These tiny masterpieces really turned out well. They definitely require stretch in both directions so do not skip that part.

Lots of fun

I totally enjoyed making this outfit. It is awesome to have a well-fitting dance/ice/gymnastics pattern available and I will have fun mixing and matching colors and textures to make costumes. Well done Tanja!

Leotard

This would be great as a swimsuit or gymnastics, iceskating, whatever you want. The instructions are great and surprisingly, it wasn't too hard to handle the stretchy fabric. Doing the lettuce ruffle was a lot of fun. I bought a childs danskin shirt and used that for my leotard. It worked out great.
