Back in the 1960s the surfing scene was trending. A man named Dave Rochlen designed a style of swim trunks specifically for surfers, which he called, "Jams." But it wasn't long before they became popular on the sand as well as the surf, and soon a girls' version began to show up. They were affectionately called, "Jellies," and followed the basic Jams line but with ruffled legs and, of course, a top.
This Flossie Potter Easy PDF sewing pattern will show you how to create your own doll-sized Jellies, with 14 pages of instructions and full-color illustrations, 3 pages of printable summary instructions (to save on printer ink!), and 3 pages of full-sized pattern pieces.
The pattern was designed to fit American Girl® dolls, but with minor adjustments will fit slimmer 18" dolls as well.
