A 1930's inspired pinafore style dress. The bodice is sewn with two contrasting bands and waistband. The full gathered skirt also has a contrasting band for added charm. The dress is sleeveless with shoulder straps attached to the waistband at the front and back. The dress hangs below the knee.
Underneath the pinafore is a delightful high neck blouse with puffy sleeves. Inserted into the seams of the collar as well as the sleeve cuffs is ric rac for perfect detail.
This dress can be used to create a 1930's back to school ensemble or a modern day cowgirl. It will also work to create Dorothy's magical costume from the land of Oz.
