This pattern worked out just how I needed it to. My cousin and her daughter are Muslim and until now, they've lacked representation in the American Girl Doll world. I want her to feel included. I used your chain mail to create a custom hijab for her doll. This pattern was wonderful. Pictures were easy to follow and it fits perfectly. I hemmed around the face and at the bottom to give it a more finished look. I would recommend maybe pulling the cap out of this pattern and presenting it this way. No one has this yet. Thank you!
This is another beautifully written pattern which I look forward to making up. This will be part of a winter project so I have read through it and am on the lookout for appropriate fabrics for the chain mail. I love the detail in the costume and the clarity in the directions.
