Very easy to knit. First I thought this is going to be too boring but it came out rather cool! My favourite pattern of course is the Dana shawl! Looking forward to more designs from a little knitty!
Great little pattern, will definitely make more in different colors. Pattern calls for sport weight yarn but I used fingering weight yarn held double throughout on US size 6 circulars (24" length). I ended up having to sew down the collar with same colored yarn to keep the collar from rolling up. I followed the pattern instructions of knitting up to 1.5" but it still turned out too short since it kept rolling up. Next time, I'll knit a longer collar (maybe 2" - 2 1/2") to prevent this from happening. Other than that minor issue, this is a great little pattern and fun to knit up. My Journey Girl Dana 18" doll is modeling the cape.
This little cape is adorable. It looks great in plain or sparkle wool, and is a popular item at my craft fairs. I add a couple of rows to the length of the collar - just my personal preference.
