Just completed both boot molds and one foot/leg form. First of all the completion of all the molds and both foot/partial leg combinations requires more than one 1-1b package of sculpting compound. Secondly, I would like to suggest that you outline your dolls foot on a heavy piece of cardboard that you can place on the bottom of the unbaked foot so you can accurately size the foot and shape the toes. I placed a metal wire from top to bottom to help with uniform baking (similar to the nail in a baking potato principle). It took many hours to go through all the steps but when finished it was a work of Art! I am so pleased that I took the time to make the form. In fact when not using it to make boots, I'm going to display it as just that - a work of art. I haven't even started making the boots yet but already know they will be beautiful. Another home run Liberty Jane. They only reason I am not giving this a five-star review is because I now have to return to the store to purchase more Sculpty.
cowboy boots turned out great... super easy pattern.. love'em...
