I've not been able to use the pattern yet, but look forward to doing so. I have ovarian cancer and am on chemotherapy. Therefore, I'm restricted to my home except for doctor appointments and the chemo is messing with my brain. Trying to follow instructions is pretty difficult. PLUS, the chemo also causes numbness in my fingers. That means I cannot hold a scissors, so no sewing until this mess is over.
I decided to use this pattern to make tights. (One option in the instructions) To make them fit well, I re-drew the ankle area to make it thinner. Fit was much better after the alteration.
Had to alter the pattern at the ankles to make the tights fit better. I’m sure regular leggings would fit fine
Easy to make and I’ll definitely make many more.
I made capris with exposed elastic as a staple piece for 19.5" Gotz dolls since they have a cloth portion of the leg that needs to be covered. The fit is excellent without modifications. The instructions are very good. I used stretch stitch and again zig-zag to reinforce the seams. The fabric is ponte knit, so it was easy to work with. I highly recommend this pattern. (The dress is Tri-City Knit Dress and the review is under that heading).
