Crocheted shoes have become very trendy. Now you can crochet oxfords and slip-ons for your doll from the same pattern. This pattern is part crochet, part craft. The uppers are crocheted, sewn to a foam insole, and glued to the outer sole. The skill level has been rated intermediate because, while the crochet stitches and shapes are simple, thread can be a little tricky to crochet if you are not experienced with it.
This PDF crochet pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.

I love this pattern. Instruction are easy to follow. The show fits fabulously. Thank you.
This is a sweet pattern. I made a pair using white crochet cotton, I decided to make them lace-ups. Overall they turned out well. But, the front opening where you lace them up is fine for lacing, but there isn't any room to put elastic, if that's what I wanted. Maybe I need to use a smaller crochet hook or smaller crochet cotton....Thanks.
I have loved Sweet Pea Fashions designs since before they came to Pixie Faire! These go together so easily and fit so well! I've made several in several colors from pearl cotton. It's a little bit finer than the crochet cotton, so I went up a size in hook and they turn out wonderful! These should sell like hotcakes at my next craft show!
