My Tent Dress 14-14.5" Doll Clothes Pattern

5 reviews   |

My Tent Dress designed by Pink Ladybug Fashions is a comfy trend from the 1970s. With no darts, no waistline and no belt, it's fitted at the top and loose at the bottom, creating a casual tent shape. The yoke is lined and the back is finished with hook and loop tape.

There are three options to add if you choose to:
1 - Pockets with bows and loops
2 - Front bow and tab
3 - Shoulder bows and loops

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 14-14.5" dolls such as Hearts For Hearts Girls® and WellieWishers™. It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl®,

    Nice little sundress

I changed the bows a bit and added buttons to the pockets. Many things you can do to embellish the dress to your liking. I embroidered Scotty dogs on leashes at base of dress. This was the first time working this pattern. Second time through will be easier. All-in-all a nice pattern.

    great pattern

I bought this pattern to challenge myself and It was easy to follow and the results were great. My one question is that I chose Gingham and it really was too flimsy. I stabilized the heck out of it and it worked, but could I have lined it with fusible interfacing or would the curved seams not worked? Deb PS great fit too.
