This pattern includes sizes ranging from approximately 3 inches in diameter to approximately 9 inches. This fun design is best done in cotton woven fabric. Choose small prints, solids, or mix them together. Great for fat quarters or as a "stash buster" project. - Doll - 1/8 yd total fabric but scraps as small as 2" x 4" can be used
- Small - 1/4 yd total fabric but scraps as small as 2.5" x 5" can be used
- Med. - 1/2 yd total fabric but scraps as small as 3" x 6" can be used
- Large - 3/4 yd total fabric but scraps as small as 4" x 8" can be used
ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES AND TOOLS:
- Thread
- Polyester fiberfill stuffing
- Medium to Large Safety Pins
- Fray stopping liquid or fabric glue
- Hand sewing needle with a large eye
Other items you may find helpful:
- Blunt point turner for turning and poking out corners
- A piece of soft leather or other tool for gripping the needle
- Orange stick or chop stick for getting the stuffing into the smaller sized balls
