I made this for my sister's 40th reunion of her class' graduation. I made it in a rush and it was a pleasure to use this pattern. The cap was a special treat! I also made the cape from your regimental cloak pattern; her class wore full uniform and cape in their graduation ceremony. So much fun!! She was delighted.
It brought me great pleasure to make this pattern. My mother was a nurse and wore a similar uniform and cap, so it was a bit nostalgic. Directions were very good and photos were helpful. The dress fit perfectly on my doll. The little cap was surprisingly simple to make and tops the uniform off perfectly. I also made the striped apron as an accessory, and it is adorable. I plan to use the apron pattern to make some baking outfits.
I thoroughly enjoyed sewing this nurse's outfit including cap. My grand niece's grandma is a nurse, so she will love this item.
Loved doing this. Hours of pleasure of playing for my granddaufhte . Worth every stitch sewn
