this pattern is very easy to use, I made shirts out of sweat shirt fabric as well as t shirt cotton and they both worked well it was very easy to understand.
I love this pattern! Easy to follow; fits well and looks so cute on doll! Thank you.
I love the off the shoulder look, so when I saw this pattern, I was thrilled. However, when I made it the first time, it was really wide. It was practically falling off of the doll. I knew that it would definitely not work for the girls playing if their doll's shirt kept falling off. So I took about an inch off of both sides. I just laid the pattern pieces on top of each other, and traced a new sleeve line half an inch in on either side of the front piece as well as on each back piece. This made for a way better fit. It might have been that my fabric was just super stretchy, but I made up nine of these little tops using the new pattern pieces I had cut, and they all turned out really cute. I also omitted the small slit in the sleeve because I was sewing up quite a few of these and wanted to save time. Instead of folding a 1/8 inch hem, I did my hems with the zigzag and fold over once method. I like this type of hem when working with knit fabric better. All in all, I really love the results. The girls are going to be so pleased with their more modern doll fashions! :)
