I was so excited for this pattern as I have long wanted fancy undies for my dolls. I am a visual person and am so thankful for all the photos provided to walk me through each step. Pattern tells you how to use lace of various widths, which allowed me to adapt my lace, which was wider than what the pattern originally called for. Now I just have to deal with all my dolls fighting over who gets to wear them...
To be honest, I was actually a little afraid of making this item, but it was a lot easier than anticipated! It's a quick project with clear instructions, and I know that it will be a pretty popular pattern for me to use!
I have never sewn with FOE or underwear, or for that matter much Stretch Lace. I was extremely excited to test this Pattern. Marilyn's Patterns are so well written and the pictures are very clear. She walks you right through all the steps. I found this set to sew up quickly and very nice. Being my first time it did take a little longer than someone with experience. The next set will go together much quicker. I can see myself sewing more. Now my dolls have fancy panties and beautiful Bralettes or camisoles.
