I suspect this one did not translate well from the SWC format to the "Master Class" format. Cinnamon shares in the first video that this is a difficult area for her and she'd like suggestions. We who download this as a master class are not privy to the discussions that occurred which may have made this worthwhile to the SWC folks. She implements a favorite suggestion for fabric storage in the third video, but we don't get any followup to see how it holds up to real use. Sure it looks cute but is it practical, does she stick with it? Showing how to do the pegboard was ok, but again, how did it fair in actual use? I can go to Pinterest for "how to" make cute stuff. I'd be more interested in seeing how you start a project in your organized-for-productivity space -- how easy it is to find and gather materials. The pattern storage part was solid. A glaring omission is any real treatment of notion storage. How do you organize and keep neat and accessible (and visible) trims, FOE, and lace? What about snaps, snap-setters, buttons, velcro, etc.? Fusible interfacing? We see thread but do you keep bobbins with their matching thread or somewhere else? And if somewhere else, how do you remember you have them and find the matching ones again? These are what I was most interested in, besides what to do with fabric that is big enough to be useable but too small to keep with the larger pieces of fabric. The final video didn't even really address organization at all. It says the small space at Sew Powerful is arranged for 13 women to do two kinds of sewing projects but does not say anything about how or give any details. Tenuous connection at best. I don't mind hearing about the project but this class was so sparse on content it felt kind of lame to recycle material shared elsewhere as "part" of this class when it didn't add to it. Your knits class was fabulous. This one does not live up to the Pixie Faire name. I would recommend either adding to it, or removing it from your site.
If you are looking for more inspired decor ideas, this is not the class. I wasn’t too concerned with pattern and data storage so those parts weren’t that interesting g to me. The fabric storage ideas were cool so I did implement them.
