This trendy jacket was one of our most popular designs for 18” dolls and will be a great addition to your smaller dolls' wardrobe. If your doll needs a heavy coat, this is the pattern for you.
Design details include: Long mid thigh length, two front patch pockets with flaps, cuffed raglan style sleeves, and a lined hood. Note - the fit of this coat is designed to be loose, with the dolls hair easily tucked inside the coat down her back. This coat can comfortably be worn over other clothing items and overlaps at CF with an optional toggle style button closure. The body of the coat is not lined. There are just a few exposed seams (straight raglan sleeve seams and side seams) that can be finished with a simple zig zag, couture Hong Kong binding, or with use of a serger. Hong Kong binding provides a fun pop of color and a unique “surprise and delight” pop inside the coat!
This pattern also works great to make a hooded raincoat! You can see an example in the 18” doll product listing. Pair it with your WellieWishers™ boots for a darling look for your doll! To make this version the recommended fabric would be oilcloth or ripstop nylon.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 14-14.5 inch dolls such as Hearts For Hearts Girls® and WellieWishers™.

Very nice pattern
Wow, very impressed. Only problem was I used a heavy wool fabric, some difficulty turning the hems. I left the flap off the pocket as it looked to bulky. Love the detail and the top stitching. Only recommendation is..."don't recommend melton wool"...LOL But thank you for this gorgeous coat pattern. I will definitely be making more!
I love working with your patterns! I made the coat in a purple raincoat material. It is so cute! It was for a Chérie doll, so I just shortened the sleeves and it was perfect. I hope you will have more patterns for Les Chéries dolls.
