Embossed leaves dance around the yoke and down the sleeves, against an understated background of reverse stockinette stitch to create a sweater that’s both classic and modern. Penelope is a round yoke cardigan with A-line shaping, worked seamlessly in one piece from the top-down. An I-cord belt functions as a closure and extends the leaf motif of the sweater with 3-dimensional leaves that are knit circularly, so both sides look the same. PDF pattern includes schematic with detailed measurements.

I bought my pattern through Ravelry, but it needs to be reviewed here. While this is not a fast, beginner's project it is so well written than a confident, newish knitter will be able to knit it and feel like it was a great knitting lesson. This designer adds beautiful details to all her designs which will please the most fashion forward doll dresser. Minimal lace skills (knowing how to make a yarn over and how to decrease) are required and past experience with circular knitter (sleeves only) would be helpful. Buy any of this designer's patterns - you will not regret it.
