I love, love, love this pattern! I've made it three times now and it's the best! Fabrics used were a linen/rayon mix, a cotton/linen mix and a faux leather or pleather. With the faux leather, I removed the back pleat. All turned out wonderfully! And it is just sooo cute! Instructions are well written and easy to follow but it is an intermediate skill pattern. The additional tab and button details on the sleeves give the jacket real "stylin" power. It is a staple in Sage's wardrobe!
The instructions are easy to follow and it looks great when finished. Its definitely an intermediate level pattern though.
What can I say? This jacket is just the cutest thing. The fit is fabulous.
Great instructions, well put together design (love the turn of the cloth in the collar). I made the tabs from the lining fabric for contrast, and have begun a Lily of the Valley dress in the same fabric as the jacket lining w/ yokes in the main fabric from the jacket. And I have a fat quarter crying out to be a peplum top for it, too.
