The Liberty Jane® Euro Libby: Piccadilly Peacoat PDF Pattern will delight your 14.5-inch Welliewishers™ Doll!
Your doll will be ready to jump on the London bus and head straight to Piccadilly Circus in this adorable fully lined peacoat. This is a classic with a twist - charming inset pleats along the back, finished with a belt.
The double-breasted front features one or two rows of functional buttons so your doll can wear her coat open or buttoned up. Decorative welt pockets run along topstitched princess seams. Cuffs are accented with tiny buttons.
Suggested fabrics include wool, wool knit blends, suiting type fabrics, corduroy or velveteen. We used a lightweight wool knit which tailors beautifully with a little steam from the iron. A cotton lining was used to line the coat but a poly or rayon lining would also work nicely.
This pattern is designed to fit 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™. Find the big sister pattern for 18" dolls such as American Girl® here.

It has a lot of details, but as usual, the pattern guides you through them in a logical sequence. You finish with a super cute little coat. I already had the pattern for the 18" doll and it turned out soooo adorable. When my friend's daughter got her Wellie Wisher's doll for Christmas I told them I would be happy to sew some clothes for her because I love to do it. I sent them to the Pixie Faire site to look for patterns. This was the first item that they requested that I sew for her because they thought it was so cute. Now I want a doll of my own, she is so pretty.
