Nice pattern and they went together easily, but

I made ballet shoes with pink satin and ribbon to tie on, but then I discovered that the Stitchin'For Kids charity requires all donations be washed and I made these with water soluble craft glue. Now I'm trying to figure out how to make some that can be fused to pellon and stitched so they can be washable.

I need more practice

This was my first time attempting shoes. It was fiddly and time-consuming and they didn’t stay on her feet. I’m sure I just need more practice and, judging from the other reviews, I need to check out the video.

Plain Janes Pattern

I used the pattern and made a set of plain janes using fleece for the upper and felt for the lining. They turned out cute. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Love them. Especially since American Girl Dolls doesn't have any to buy. Make sure you watch the online tutorial. Really was a help. Suprised myself. I'm a cobbler.
