The image that most people have of Martha Washington is that of a simply dressed...
I loved this pattern. It was easy to follow the directions and it turned out very well. It was easy to make. I made the dress, apron, and sunbonnet in less than a day from cutting out the pattern, pinning it on the fabric and cutting it out and sewing it up. One thing I found was that I didn't need as much fabric as the pattern called for. I used two fat quarters. Loved this pattern!!!
Beautiful outfits! Very well designed pattern, easy to follow.
Even though this pattern is designed for Wellie Wishers, it does fit the Hearts for Hearts dolls. I made it for my H4H dolls. It is a very cute pattern. It includes a dress pattern that can be made as a historical dress or as a modern dress, a traditional prairie bonnet and a waist tied apron. I made the historical dress with bonnet and apron as my doll wanted to dress as Laura Ingalls from the "Little House books. What a fun pattern for dress up play, historical play or acting out parts if the "Little ahouse" books. Anyway, you are sure to live this pattern!
