This dress is designed for comfort and coolness for our best doll friends during hot summer months. It is made from cotton print and includes facings for the neck, arms, and hem. It can be worn for casual wear or updated for dressy events by using a variety of other fabrics. It is easy to make it your own design by using trim or buttons. Possibilities are limitless!
This dress has a pointed hem prepared with a hem facing in addition to arm and neck facing for the sleeveless dress.
The PDF sewing pattern includes a free complete top pattern as a bonus, sharing only neck and arm facings from the dress. The top is a perfect complement to summer shorts, capri pants or skirt.

I love this dress! it is easy to sew and the points are so CUTE! It goes together quickly and the pattern is easy to read. Give this one a try - perfect for summer!
This dress sewed up fast and is so cute. Reminds me of dresses from the 60's. My granddaughter now wants me to make it as a top too.
There are so many ways to dress up this simple dress. It's going to make perfect frocks for Melody, the new 60s doll coming out. I had no trouble following the pattern and the instructions are clear and helpful. I enjoyed making it and it looks great on the dolls. I highly recommend!!!
I just love the way this dress sewed up. With the way she wrote her instructions and pictures the dress went together with ease. Just take your time with turning your points. My daughter just loves how it looks on her dolls. Such a fresh and new look for Summer. Such a versatile pattern to make a top for shorts or jeans come this Fall. Definitely a keeper in my pattern collection.
