This is a very easy to follow pattern with a lot of opportunities for creativity. I have made the pattern twice, and have another one cut out. One was in a satin for a 'party dress-up look' and the other was a knit for a walk on the beach. They both turned out adorable. A beginner sewer could easily sew this pattern up and be proud of the results. As an advanced sewer, I hope to use this pattern and use my imagination to create unique doll dresses with accessories.
cute but had to raise the bodice , was too low cut for my dolll
It was a fun dress to do! Possibilities are endless!
Love this pattern! You can make it casual or fancy, just use the bodice and you've got a summer top with capri shorts, shorten the skirting and you've got a longer top! Make it in cotton or satin, you're imagination is limitless! Surprise that little girl in your life with a new princess dress from this easy pattern. It has become one of my go to patterns for summer dresses.
This is a beautiful pattern. But I have those old dolls with white bodies. I hope you will make a pattern exactly like this but where the top covers the chest. I love the variety of skirts. It's like getting so many patterns for the price of one. You are an amazing designer. I'd like to make one to match my niece's prom dress.
