I have sewn a lot of clothes for my daughters dolls,, besides the pattern pieces I didn’t use much of this pattern. The jackets turned out cute but with the instructions jumping all over the place I couldn’t follow them.

I agree with the review that the directions do not seem to flow sequentially. I tried to follow them word for word, jumping ahead or back as instructed, but there was a time or two when I let common sense rule and did what seemed like the best step next. I made one completed puffer jacket and it was really cute, but I would appreciate a zipper closure (I can't believe I'm saying this!!!) pattern and maybe one that worked a bit more sequentially. I attempted a second puffer jacket, but it's still waiting to be finished as I got too frustrated and had to set it aside.
Directions jump all over. I am an experienced seamstress but this one had me baffled. I wasted 2 days along with fabric and lining. Love the look of the coats but not the way to get a finished product. Will try and salvage the "fur" from the hood and try something else. Very disappointed. Had such high hopes for a beautiful finished coat.
The pattern fits well and went together nicely. Looks great on the doll.
I have started this Puffer Vest but have given up. The pattern is adorable, but instructions are very vague and difficult to follow. I am experienced sewer, but felt the time I had to put into this was not worth it, so I left it for another day because I was so frustrated. I may go back to it and I may not. Very disappointed in this pattern.
