Romantic Fusion Crochet Pattern for Kidz N Cats Dolls

2 reviews   |

A beautifully fitted crochet bodice atop a froth of soft draping fabric, creates this gorgeous and oh-so-easy party dressby Little Miss Muffett. Using Baby, sock or lace weight cotton yarn for the bodice, a minimal amount of hand-sewing on a skirt with no hems and no seams, this easy PDF pattern works up very quickly. The bodice has buttons in back; satin ribbon is threaded through the waist and decorated with a pretty buckle. By adding a little wand or a pair of ballet slippers, a fairy princess or a pretty ballerina costume is created. This pattern is designed to fit Slim 18” Kidz n Cats® dolls.

This pattern is available in 5 great sizes for dolls: 18" dolls such as American Girl®Journey Girls®A Girl for All Time®Kidz N Cats®, and 19" Gotz® dolls.

Special Note - This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit a Kidz N Cats Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. A KNC doll is 18 inches tall but has a much slimmer hard plastic body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page.

- Georgette was used for the White Bodice’s skirt and Voile for the Gold Bodice’s skirt.

Lovely easy pattern

Margaret N.

Romantic Fusion dress with crochet bodie and net skirt

I absolutely love this pattern. I have made the top using a variegated pink DMC Petra and am also working on a white one. The crocheted top is a perfect fit, the instructions are precise and at present I am waiting on some spotted voile I have ordered and also have bought this week two other voiles I plan to use for skirts. Some small buckles are also on order. I have not decided whether or not to put a rolled hem on the skirt pieces - the design calls for raw edges, so a practice first is in order. I wonder what this designer could do with a one or two shouldered charleston dress design for this doll
