A complicated gift.

I was gifted this pattern by a friend for my birthday. She had bought the pattern and couldn't finish the dress satisfactorily herself. So she gave me the stuff and let me have at it-- and after working as a seamstress for 2 years and sewing for dolls for over ten, I couldn't understand the pattern. The instructions are confusing and I likely would have had more luck discarding them and just trying it on my own. It is a surprisingly complicated pattern.

Ice Cream Dress

Made this pattern for Samantha. She was part of a centerpiece for a Ladies Luncheon. Looked great. Had to work a bit to get the top to fit just right, but was using an older doll so may be the way she was made. Everyone loved it!
