Fabric Used in Samples – Linen was used for the Mint Green Suit and a loose weave Quilter’s Cotton for the Watermelon Pink Suit. Lightweight Cotton was used for the Jacket Bodice and Side Tab Linings.
Fabric Requirements:
• Jacket & Pants: Linen, Quilters’ Cotton or as desired - 23” x 22”
• Lining for Jacket Bodice & Side Tabs: Lightweight Cotton - 17” x 8”
Notions:
• Hook & Loop Tape for Jacket Center Front Opening: 2 ½” x 3/8” wide
• Elastic for Pants Waist: ± 10 ½” x 3/8” wide
• Buttons for Jacket Front, Sleeve Cuffs & Side Tabs: 9 x ¼” wide
• Matching Thread, Erasable Marking Pen, Point Turner, Curved Nose Embroidery Scissors, Clear Tape, 2 Small Safety Pins for threading Elastic, general sewing supplies.
• A Universal Sewing Needle – 80/12; a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot, are used throughout the sewing process.
