This dress and blouse ensemble is inspired by a design from the1960s, but the classic A-Line can be worn today. The jumper has a wide boat neckline and princess seams in both the front and the back. The side pieces can be placed on the bias to highlight the flattering cut. View A has deep pleats on both the front and back and an accent “belt” anchored by button trim. View B has accent piping to highlight the princess seams, and the pleats have been eliminated. A contrast belt fastened with buttons on the front give it a flattering fit. The blouse has a softly rolled collar and long sleeves gathered into a cuff and closes in the back with either hook and loop tape or buttons.
