I really enjoyed sewing this outfit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the use of blue thread to make stitches more visible and easy to see in the pictures. Also, since we finally bought an overlock this last Christmas, this is the first time I use it when making dolls' clothes. I love it! I wanted one for many, many years, and now when our daughter goes to college training as a designer / seamstress, I thought it was time. Wonderful! Thank you Love U Bunches for a great pattern.
I really liked how this outfit turned out, and already have requests to make a couple more. I used a scrub shirt from the thrift store for the fabric, giving it a real “authentic” look. I did find the top a little snug, and might add a little to the side seams next time. The hat band was fairly big, but by using a Kam snap instead of elastic, the fit was perfect. All in all, a good pattern.
