I used the scrubs top but have not used the bottom yet. I make doll clothes for the original Pleasant Company doll which is larger than the newer dolls and had to enlarge this pattern just a little. I tried so long to figure out the neck facing and just couldn't do it. Your instructions made it so simple. This was money well spent for me. Thanks June Millard
This is a great "quick" project. I experimented with several different ways of completing the "V" of the neckband, and I will most likely stick with the original pattern instructions. I still want to play around with the surgical cap and face mask when I get the time. I think I will use 1/2" seam binding instead of elastic for the face mask. This will allow me to tie it in the back for a perfect fit (just like on "Grey's Anatomy!). I also want to add narrow elastic around the bottom of the cap to make it stay on the doll better. I added a stethoscope and some crocs or tennis shoes to complete the outfit. Some little girls I know just love it!
