As I dip my toes into the world of sewing doll clothes, I started off sewing easy patterns. This one could not be more simple/easy, yet the finished product and look reads very expensive and darling. If I could recommend one pattern, it would be this one!!
Of all the patterns I have this one is used the most, Love it!
Very easy pattern to follow and it it very cute
I consider myself an intermediate sewer, but fairly new to sewing doll clothes. I'm still learning and making plenty of mistakes. This skirt was so easy to make! The instructions were fantastic and the skirt is adorable on my daughter's AG doll. It's a perfect fit. I screwed up cutting the fabric at first. For me, it wasn't obvious where the fold should go on the pattern (where it says "center front"). In previous patterns I've done, it would've said, "fold here". But if I would've checked the measurements I would've figured it out before making my mistake cutting. I guess that's just my inexperience! LOVE LOVE LOVE it and will definitely do it again in different fabrics and experiment with embellishments. Thank you pixie faire and Doll Tag Clothing!!
This pattern was everything I wanted: easy, quick and versatile. I have three granddaughters with American girl dolls and they love this. Another plus is that it's very easy for the girls to put on and off their dolls. lol ve it!
