These shoes turned out so cute. I used glitter vinyl and the shoes turned out adorable. Pattern was very easy to follow.
It was harder to do than it looked, but they were cute
These sandals are so cute and I have already made a few pairs. As a beginner I found that cutting the straps and then trying to sew them was difficult. For the second pair, I drew out the shape of the straps before cutting and seweing them. Then I sewed the straps, then cut them. This helped to make the stitching strait.
The strappy sandals were a little hard to put together. The sewing parts were fine but I felt like the size of the straps should be a little bigger. They were hard to put on the doll. I made sure the straps were correctly placed.
The whole thing seems easy enough, but I am having a hard time getting neat edges on the 6mm foamie. Obviously I'm not as neat of a cutter as I thought. Have tried 3 pairs of scissors and am now going for an x-acto. If that doesn't work I'm going to glue three layers of 2 mm together
