Summer Grace 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

This intermediate PDF sewing pattern by Little Miss Muffett is designed to fit 18-inch soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.

Suggested Fabrics: Fabric Used In Samples – Medium weight Chiffon and Georgette was used for the Dress and lightweight Cotton for the Bodice Lining.  Dutch Filet Lace (Used in Cafe Curtains) was used for the Outer Shopping Bag and Quilter’s Cotton for the Bag Lining.

Supplies Needed:

Fabric Requirements:

• Dress: Fabric with a good drape such as Medium Weight Chiffon, Georgette, Viscose, etc. –  50” x 20”
• Dress Bodice Lining: Lightweight Cotton – 10” x 8”
• Outer Shopping Bag: Dutch Filet (Café Curtain) Lace or as Desired – 14” x 9”
• Shopping Bag Lining: Quilters’ Cotton – 14” x 9”

Notions:

• Narrow Lace for Skirt Edging  (53” for Upper Skirt / 58” for Lower Skirt) : 111” x ¼” or ¾” wide (3yds, 3ins)
• Hook & Loop Tape for Dress Bodice Center Back Opening : 2” x 3/8” wide
• Twisted Cord for Shopping Bag Shoulder Straps : 25” Purchased Cord or 128” Fingering Cotton Yarn for DIY
• Decorative items for Shopping Bag Front: As Desired
