Located in the heart of Malibu, Surfrider Beach is the place to be in the summer! And now your 18 inch doll can have the perfect sundress to wear when she visits. This pretty Malibu Libby Collection sundress is polished, flattering, and perfect for the sunny weather! Design details include: A faux button front closure, princess seams, feminine gathering, and cute front pockets. Your 18 inch doll will look amazing in this perfect little summer dress!
Bonus Romper Design: If play is on your mind, try the romper variation, capturing the same charming feeling! The romper and dress use the same bodice with the front opening. The fit of the romper is a little less gathered, creating a streamlined look. Front pockets and cuffs bring a hint of nautical detail to this super cute design!
Dress design opens in the front using either a hook and loop tape or snap closure under non-functional buttons. This results in a very easy "on and off" garment. If desired, functional buttons and buttonholes can be sewn. The romper design opens in the front in the same manner, but just to the base of the fly stitching.

I loved how it turned out. So adorable!
Love the pattern so many options.Easy to make.
This little romper is so adorable! I love the buttons so much! I have to admit, there are a lot of steps to this one, but the steps are so clear and easy to read, and it is so worth it in the end as the result is fantastic. The only thing I did differently was I hemmed the shorts before I sewed the crotch seam. I don't know if that made any difference, but I just find I have to hem things flat. Also I didn't put on the cuff. I LOVE this romper!!
Fun dress to make. Great instructions. I made two dresses and hemmed one a little longer. Now that I see the two dresses together, I like the short hem length as shown in the pattern. Both are cute.
