Blouses that tie at the neckline are a wardrobe classic that advance and retreat in fashion cycles--usually with subtle changes in detail and proportion. The Tie Blouse pattern, by Forever 18 Inches, provides four different options to help your doll time travel through the late 1930s up to today. Details include a rounded hem, button-covered snaps, working ties, and options for short Bishop Sleeves, long sleeves, ruffled shoulders, and a sleeveless version. The ruffled sleeve cuffs are created with elastic for easy on-and-off dressing, and with so many options your doll can wear this blouse year-round!

Pattern is well sized for my AG doll. I was making View 4 and found the instructions jumped about a bit. My tweak was to sew the lining to the main fabric at the hemline before basting it at the neckline - then I didn't have to leave a gap to turn it to the right side through.
I made view 4, but at the point of attaching the lining at the hemline, I didn't baste the neckline closed first - then I didn't need to leave a gap in the hemline for turning it right side out. The instructions are clear, but I found myself jumping all round the pages to do things in the right order.
The blouse sewed up very easily, both lined and unlined versions. Looks adorable with rolled up jeans .
