Make a fashion statement this fall with the new Waterfall Dress and Top pattern by Little Abbee. You will love the look of the sweet layered ruffles on the bottom of the dress.
This dress crocheted from the top down with short sleeves added after the body is crocheted. Because of the way it is crocheted you can make a top, or a short dress. Although the pattern does not include instructions for a long dress, you could easily adjust the length to make it as long as you would like it to be. The back closure uses four ½” buttons for easy dressing. Yarn from Knit Picks was used to crochet the dress and the top in the pictures.
For a more modest look, you will need to pair this dress with a pair of leggings.
This PDF crochet pattern is designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®.
This is an advanced level crochet pattern. It includes written instructions with step-by-step pictures.
Recommended Fabrics: I would suggest using an acrylic yarn, or a blend of acrylic/cotton. The dress in the pattern was crocheted with 100% acrylic yarn. The top was crocheted with a cotton/acrylic blend.

Thanks for your email about the waterfall dress and top pattern I bought from you. In fact, I started making the vest and stopped because I was having a bit of trouble. Since you sent me the email I'm trying to resume making it to see if I can finish it. I don't seem to understand the pattern quite well but will try one more time and will send you my review.
It worked up really nice. Loved the pattern.
