Let's get started...
Supplies Needed:
-10” x 8” scrap of knit fabric
-Hair elastic
-Thread
-Scissors
-Sewing machine
Step 1: Cut two 10” x 4” strips of fabric with the stretch lengthwise.
Step 2: Fold strips in half lengthwise, stitch with a ¼ seam allowance.
Step 3: Turn strips RIGHT side out.
Step 4: Tie a knot in the middle of the elastic.
Step 5: Loop one strip through the elastic.
Step 6: Pin the ends together with the seams centered and facing out.
Step 7: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance. Clip corners.
Step 8: Flip the strip and line the elastic with the seam, pin.
Step 9: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance.
Step 10: Loop second strip though the first.
Step 11: Repeat STEPS 5-9 for other side.
You're all done! How cute is this?!?

My doll definitely needs one.
I love making these! They are addictive though and every outfit I sew gets a matching one ( twisted or regular) plus one for my granddaughter in " people" size. So very cute. Headbands are my favorite hair style trick, leaves the long hair down and pretty but keeps the face free of hair and shining pretty as well!
“ONE OF MY FAVORITE HAIR STYLING TIPS IS…”To get a curling style in the hair without using a hot curling iron, just use a little setting lotion and a straw and roll the hair up on the straw, then pull the straw out of the hair while holding the hair in place. Put a Bobbie pin in the hair do this all over your hair and let dry. When you remove the pins just pull each curl down and there you have it a head full of curls. Use a little water for your doll’s hair and do the same thing with setting the curls in her hair. Also, Love this headband it would be great for this style.
