Let's get started...
Supplies Needed:
-10” x 8” scrap of knit fabric
-Hair elastic
-Thread
-Scissors
-Sewing machine
Step 1: Cut two 10” x 4” strips of fabric with the stretch lengthwise.
Step 2: Fold strips in half lengthwise, stitch with a ¼ seam allowance.
Step 3: Turn strips RIGHT side out.
Step 4: Tie a knot in the middle of the elastic.
Step 5: Loop one strip through the elastic.
Step 6: Pin the ends together with the seams centered and facing out.
Step 7: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance. Clip corners.
Step 8: Flip the strip and line the elastic with the seam, pin.
Step 9: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance.
Step 10: Loop second strip though the first.
Step 11: Repeat STEPS 5-9 for other side.
You're all done! How cute is this?!?

I sure like learning all of these new ideas for the AG doll. After years of being ill, giving away all of my sewing things, I am now back to my sewing and enjoying life once again. It has been so easy with Pixie patterns. I just love the learning experience in my own home. Thank you all for doing such a good job.
These are so cute and a great use of scraps. One of my favorite hairstyling tips is to use disposable clear hair elastics because they don’t show up in photos and distract from the outfits I sell.
