Let's get started...
Supplies Needed:
-10” x 8” scrap of knit fabric
-Hair elastic
-Thread
-Scissors
-Sewing machine
Step 1: Cut two 10” x 4” strips of fabric with the stretch lengthwise.
Step 2: Fold strips in half lengthwise, stitch with a ¼ seam allowance.
Step 3: Turn strips RIGHT side out.
Step 4: Tie a knot in the middle of the elastic.
Step 5: Loop one strip through the elastic.
Step 6: Pin the ends together with the seams centered and facing out.
Step 7: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance. Clip corners.
Step 8: Flip the strip and line the elastic with the seam, pin.
Step 9: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance.
Step 10: Loop second strip though the first.
Step 11: Repeat STEPS 5-9 for other side.
You're all done! How cute is this?!?

One of my favorite hairstyling tips is to brush the dolls’ hair starting from the tips and working upward in small sections. Too many girls, and many adults, try to brush starting from the scalp the way we would brush our own hair.
One of my favorite hair styling tips is when untangling hair use a spray bottle with water and a small amount of hair conditioner in the water and start at the ends-it works well and avoids the tears!

I can’t claim credit for this (a young lady who goes by Nethilia in the AG community discovered it) but braid spray works wonders on dolls with coarse, unruly hair!
