Being out in nature and connecting with family. Simple meals and restful sleep.
I used to camp my n a huge park way up north. It had many lakes and hat we could canoe on and the campground was one a small lake. We camped across that lake and found a short stream into a larger lake. It was so beautiful back there and quiet and not was it full of fish. Never saw anyone else there so it was not known well if at all.
Waking up early to the sounds of nature instead of cars, cooking up breakfast and staying up late to toast marshmallows under the the stars.
I have never been camping. I can’t say I miss it…. Not an outdoorsy type of person.
If it ever stops raining here. I’d love to set up camp in my back garden for my “kids” they would probably love it.
